My name is Lacey and Yoga found me 8 years ago. I am a type-A personality with 4 children, that’s right, 4 girls! I was between babies and decided to try a class after my group fitness strength class because I wanted a good “stretch”. Well, since that very first class, I have never been the same. Yoga found me and ruined my life as I knew it. I continued to explore Yoga and alternate my strength training with Yoga classes. I discovered that Yoga by itself was not just great exercise but also mental therapy and grounding for the soul. I also discovered that Yoga paired with other types of exercise helped me reach my fitness goals but, with grace, gratitude and acceptance. I found myself feeling more connected to the world, less reactive to the rollercoaster of daily life and more present. I decided that Yoga was calling me. I felt the need to practice Yoga and share with others, so I went through Yoga Teacher Training at Life Power Yoga. I have experience in teaching various forms of Yoga; Vinyassa, Ashtanga, Yin, Meditation, Family Yoga, Kids Yoga and Prenatal Yoga. Because I am a fitness junkie, I love helping people fuse Yoga into their health and wellness plans. I look forward to sharing the art of Yoga and showing you how to take it home with you.
