Pete, or as he is known around the gym, “Pags” is one of our youngest CrossFitters but also becoming one of our strongest young bloods. Pete joined CrossFit Fury in October 2010 and moved quickly through Basics and Prep because he had a goal-to become a better athlete in time for baseball season. Mission accomplished! Pete is busting out chest to bar pull ups, throwing up 165 pound jerks and making a few track appearances. He is a dedicated athlete and we are proud to have him in the gym.

We asked Pete to give us a few words on his journey so far at Fury and this is what he had to say:

When Did you Start CrossFit: I joined Crossfit on October 19th 2010

Why Did you Start CrossFit: Eric Whittington Sr. knew I was looking to better and strengthen my ability as a baseball player, and he highly recommended Crossfit

What kept you coming back/motivated: The reason I kept coming back was because of the way my body has changed, the more athletic I’ve become as a baseball player, and because throughout the day I feel more energized and just feel good about myself.

How long did it take you to go from Basics to CrossFit: It took me two and a half months to move up to Crossfit

What is the best thing you have gained CrossFit: The best things that I have gotten out of Crossfit is the motivation I have now to achieve goals in life, also I couldn’t have done it without the support and encouragement from the trainers and the other members of the gym.

What is something you have done here that you never thought you could do: I never thought that I could be this dedicated to working out and love it this much.

Additional Comments: I just Want to say thanks from all the support I’ve gotten from everybody and the friendships I have made through Crossfit You have made an impact on my life.
