That’s great news!  You have my permission for sure.  Thank you for having this program – I hope you know that I feel like a completely different person than the woman who had to run outside and throw up the first Saturday that I showed up.  I was in the mall in March of this year (remember it being the boys Spring break) shopping for jeans, I remember being in tears in the dressing room when a size 14 was too small wondering how I had arrived at that place.  The size 8 jeans I bought three weeks ago are too big for me now.  That is unbelievable to me, I have never been a size 8 in my entire adult life!  My oldest son told me last night that he has never seen me so happy.  It’s not just about the weight or the clothes or even the confidence, it is about finding out that I am actually strong enough to be able to push myself beyond what I thought my limits were.

You guys are changing lives, I hope you realize that every day that you step into the gym.

I knew I needed to make some changes. My weight was 320 and I was on meds for hypertension and I just wasn’t making any gains in the [workout] program I was doing.

I took advantage of the Cross Fit opportunity and I was intimidated and hooked at the same time. Now 10 months later I am 55+ pounds lighter and off all meds. I have never been around a better environment to train in, everyone is great.

Thank you Peter!

I just want to say the first couple of weeks were tough. Changing my eating habits no matter what function I went to I was packing my food to ensure I was sticking to my commitment.  With the help of the trainers and the intense workouts, I did it!!  I lost 14 lbs and I feel darn good….

“As you can see before, I had a budding career as a “before model” or posing for mugshots. Thanks to years of drinking and eating whatever I wanted, I ended up at 242 lbs!  I felt like horrible, looked horrible and wanted to do something about it…

Then CrossFit came into my life!

I heard of it, but made fun of it at the fire station, saying things like, ” you don’t have to change the weights with your wife/girlfriend”, of course never doing a workout or realizing the weights are rubber.

My wife and I went to see Peter on March 15, 2010, two weeks after my 39th birthday.  We did a basics workout that was not too tough, but opened my eyes to what this could do for me in my personal and professional life.  You quickly learn what your good at and what you suck at, it’s the same for everyone and it motivates you to not SUCK. Now, every time I go to the gym I have a smile on my face because it’s fun.

The Paleo Challenge is what really changed me. “So easy a caveman can do it” Totally true!  I wouldn’t even call it a diet, it’s a lifestyle, and an easy one.  I went from 242lbs at the start to 215 at the time of this picture, (4 weeks later I’m now 210!)  I’m addicted to CrossFit!  I wish I would have started this in my playing days, and the biggest thanks for my new lifestyle goes to Peter Egyed.

So, turn around, sign the form and start working out today!  It will make a hugedifference in your life!”

I am 41 years old and retired from the Air Force. I became a police officer after the military and had every intention of being fit. Like most people I joined a fancy gym and routinely gave them my money. I was able to use the phrase “yea, I go to the gym.” Problem was I would go periodically and move a little weight around and attempt to break a sweat. I reached 195lbs and figured out it was not working. I tried to motivate myself in the past to exercise regularly but found excuses as easily as a cop locates a doughnut shop. I realized I needed a change but didn’t know where to start.

CrossFit Fury offered me a three month challenge. At the end of the three months I was addicted. I love the training, the team work, the guidance it provided. I have not only changed my body but my lifestyle. Pictures don’t lie. CrossFit Fury continues to push and train me to rech new goals.

I was tired and exhausted… but now if find myself begging for more! I’m so fortunate to have found my true ‘physical’ self, by finding CrossFit. It’s like I have gotten my life back and I feel better now at 37 than I did at 20! If I can be a CrossFitter, anyone can!”

“I first heard about Crossfit Fury six months ago from a family member. At first I watched some Crossfit workouts on youtube and thought “I could never do any of those workouts”, but after being talked in to going to the Free saturday class one day in February I was hooked. I found that any Crossfit workout can be customized so that I could complete it and still get an amazing workout. I have now been a part of the crossfit family for about four months and I can not see myself ever going back to a run of the mill gym again. I am in the best shape of my life and I am only getting better and stronger, and if that was not enough have also noticed big changes in the way I look, feel and eat thanks to the trainers at Crossfit Fury. They have been instrumental in helping me become stronger, faster and leaner and an all around better athlete. I Highly reccommend Crossfit Fury to anyone and everyone.‎”

“For those of you that may not know, I have lost almost 30lbs following the zone way of eating. CrossFit and the zone have literally changed my life. Prior to January of this year [2008] I was overstressed, eating terribly and not exercising at all. In addition I have metabolic arthritis which prior to January I was have outbreaks on average once or twice a month. These outbreaks would leave me in such horrible pain that I was bedridden for days at a time. Almost 7 months later I have more energy, fun, focus and drive for every aspect of my life. CrossFit and diet have played a crucial role in this.”
