There is nothing more important to us then our community, both locally and abroad. Below are individuals and businesses who are supporting our road to the 2012 CrossFit Games. We thank you all for your dedication to our cause and appreciate everything you do!
Ryann and Teri Roberts have been working out at Fury for almost two years now and has been working with our Games athletes for over a year. It is amazing what a little preventative maintenance can do for your performance and overall success at this daunting sport of ours! If you have some limited range of motion or a lingering ache give AZ OPT a call.
Wilhelm Automotive is a local family owned automotive repair and maintenance business that has been serving the Valley since 1928. The President and aspiring CrossFitters Chris and his wife Kelly have always made community support a top priority by being involved with organizations such as St. Mary’s Westside Food Bank, TheaterWorks, Peoria Center for the Arts, Girl Scouts and the American Cancer Society. Wilhelm currently has Five Locations including Litchfield Park, Goodyear, Peoria, Surprise and Tatum Ranch. Next time your ride needs some work, dont just keep it local, keep it CrossFit!
If you have a nasty spill MP Environmental is who you call. Rex and Chrissy have been a part of the gym since the Basics Program started and have played integral roles in our growth. If you appreciate being able to do pullups with 20 of your friends or busting out muscle ups with five others hats off to these two for helping us reach our goals.
Kory and Bri are two regulars in the gym who also have been around since before it was cool to do CrossFit… They helped out tons during our expansion and took care of our office, restroom and day care flooring. Additionally these two hold the current referral gym record so there is a good chance if you are reading this, they sent you in. If you want stylish floors, check them out!
Phil and Sherry Nees joined the gym late last year and have quickly become part of the Fury family. Between busting their butts in the gym or hosting Paleo Pot Lucks these two are in it to win it. If you are ever in the Mid-West area and need a Harley, hit up Nees Harley Davidson!
Good Night Pediatrics was the answer to the West Valley’s need for an after hours pediatric treatment facility. GNP has in house pediatricians and pediatric nurses who specialize in caring for infants and small children. As most parents already know, kids often need care after hours, weekends or holidays. Mike and Lori McQueen opened up several GNP throughout the Phoenix area, one being on McDowell Rd in Avondale. They were happy to support Crossfit Fury and the work they are doing to get kids fit in the West Valley.
Julio and Melanie from Laboy Law offices have been apart of Fury for over two years now with a little break for work and life. Managing a criminal defense law firm can be challenging but still not as challenging as most CrossFit workouts. Recently Julio and Melanie completed the Spartan Race and have committed to the Paleo Diet, these two are CrossFitters for life!
When the gym first opened I frequented many networking meetings and quickly ran into the most networked man in Goodyear aka Greg McIntyre with 19 Systems. His profession besides knowing everyone and everything is fixing and tuning up those slow running PC’s. Unfortunately for Greg the gym quickly switched over to Macs but a good portion of you all are still running DOS so Greg has plenty of work. If your Windows are slow or word isn’t working, give Greg from 19 Systems a call!
Kelly and Clay McGuire have been around since back when Fury was just a dream. In fact Kelly was one of our first CrossFit guinea pigs back at the old gym and when things started to heat up at Fury, she was the first hire for the Basics program. The rest is history and these two have supported us the entire time! Thank you Kelly, Clay and Cole!
Tami Casler was one of the original Basics Members aka Fury 2.0 and her husband Carlton has been the legal advice of Fury for just as long. While his focus is on Real Estate and Contractual law Carlton has been a huge help with all that legal mumble jumble that goes in incorporations and bylaws. Carlton has just published his 2012 version of The Arizona Landlords Deskbook which is a must have for any property manager or real estate professional.
Susie and Lance are some of the more recent additions to the gym but they immediately felt as if they belonged. Both are great athletes of the longer type and using CrossFit to master their sport and crush the competition. If you need garage or epoxy floors be sure the check them out!
