After much thought and deliberation, we have decided to move our 5th Annual Furious Competition from its original date of October 13th to November 17th. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but know, this decision was made with your interests at heart. We promise that the wait will be more then worth it in order for the new facility to be 100% operational.
All of the demolition debris has been removed and most of the truckloads of equipment have been delivered and it is truly exciting! Currently we are making a few revisions to our original plans and finishing out our restroom remodel. While this decision to postpone is disappointing, the extra time has allowed us to develop new ideas that were not present in the original vision, making the final project better then expected.
We have contacted all those who have registered already (nearly 50 teams) and anyone who needs a refund will have it issued but if not, you have four more weeks to prepare! I owe Michael Moseley and Todd Miller much respect for the work they have put into this event so far and for not strangling me when we weighted the pros- and cons of moving the event, you both are amazing, thank you!
So we are going to continue painting, setting up equipment and laying nearly half an acre of rubber floor. All we ask is that you continue to train, be preparied for the unknown and we will see you all in a few more weeks. Thank you!
