Games Open Workout 12.2

So it has been announced….snatches, snatches and more snatches! The workout is:

  • 30 Snatch (M 75 / F 45 lbs)
  • 30 Snatch (M 135 / F 75 lbs)
  • 30 Snatch (M 165 / F 100 lbs)
  • Max Rep Snatch (M 210 / F 120 lbs)

    This workout begins from the standing position. The athlete will complete all reps at the first weight before advancing to the next weight. Score is total reps completed in 10min.

    Are you ready-We are! Here is the low down on how it will work at the gym. Saturday, we would love for as many people to travel with us to Urban WarFit (in North Scottsdale) and take on the workout with the the rest of our Arizona affiliate friends. There is no scaling in this workout as the weights start light enough to get reps to count. We need anyone planning on going with us to let us know by Friday morning.     We will still have track, CrossFit Kids, our free Basics and Prep classes as well as an Open Gym from 9:30-11am. There will be NO judging of the workout on Saturday. If you can’t make it to Urban WarFit, you can get judged tomorrow from 9-10:30am or 4-5:30pm. We will also judge “by appointment” on Friday but we ask that you try and find at least one if not two members to do it with you. You have until 5pm Pacific time on Sunday to complete the workout and SUBMIT your scores. If you have any questions, please ask.

    Also, don’t forget our fundraiser, Pull For Dominic, coming up after the final Open workout on March 24th! We have started raising money for our team and we need help from everyone’s help to get to our team buy-in of $5,000. We are accepting donations now. Donations can be made out to Wells Fargo Bank for the Dominic Peranzi Fund and given to Aimee and Peter.
