The preschoolers got to work on push-ups at varying progressions. They did really well progressing from a push-up on a bench, to a 10-inch box, to the floor. Throw in some ring rows and they had a great workout with good efforts all around. They also got to play with the tires and get dirty with jumps and pushes.
The elementary kids played Crossfit Baseball. Instead of hitting a ball and running bases (boring) they ran from base to base with 5 reps of a different exercise at each base. 1st was 5 squats, 2nd was 5 PVC thrusters, 3rd was 5 burpees and home was 5 jumping pullups. The boys got 11 runs/rounds and the girls got 13 runs. Excellent work girls!
