REMEMBER that Sundays time has been moved earlier and now runs from 9am until 12pm. You can come in anytime during those hours.

If you had your choice of Hero workouts for memorial day what would yours be?? I think I would finally attempt Murph with a vest… let me hear what you think?

SO there have been updates regarding the last chance qualifiers. Seems 3 workouts will be announced Saturday May 30th at 0600 PDT and there will be 24 hours to complete all three and have your video submitted to CrossFit. We will be adding some extended hours to the gym that day for those who plan on attempting the workouts to qualify for our affiliate team. More to come…

I’d probably chose Murph as well, except I wouldn’t use the waited vest. I’ll leave that for the real men. Although–”Hansen” and that other 20 minutes of AMRAP doom (30 box jumps, 20 PP with 115#, 30 pull-ups) would seem…”worthy”… as well.

Although, hands down the most memorable Hero WOD I’ve ever done is (if I remember the name correctly) JT. Three rounds of 21 DB Snatch right hand (45#), 21 L-pull ups, 21 DB Snatch left hand, 21 L-pull ups.

    Have good weekend, everyone!

I’d choose to do a hero WOD that I have not attempted.

    Either Badger:
    3rds for time of 30 squat cleans (95#), 30 pullups, 800M run.

    Or Daniel:
    50 Pull ups, 400M run, 21 Thrusters (95#), 800M run, 21 Thrusters (95#), 400M run, 50 pull ups.

And I guess Murph with a vest would be an option too.

I’d be up for Daniel or Tommy V. or Badger … I don’t think i’ve ever done any of those.

    But, ok… Murph too I suppose :)

  4. Peter says:

AHHHH Tommy V.!!! That is horrible! Quite possibly the only combination and reps to make 115# thruster appealing…

  5. Ian says:

Murph with a vest seems to be fitting for Memorial Day. Force participants to wear combat boots for the “day in the life” experience. ;)

  6. James says:

Murph or Daniel works for me… I’ll sport the boots for which ever WOD is picked.

Ian’s Mom in Minn. keeps looking at this site and so happy to see her son doing this. In my younger days at age 38 I use to work out in a all mens gym.Hated the gyms where everyone worried about make up and how they looked before they walked into the door.Love what you are doing here…would love to see Ian in a picture:)
